Reality TV personality Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer, opening up about her health journey in a candid message to fans. The 38-year-old star, who rose to fame on Jersey Shore, said the diagnosis followed ongoing monitoring after abnormal Pap smear results.

Polizzi explained that doctors identified adenocarcinoma, a type of cervical cancer that develops in glandular cells. She described receiving the confirmation as overwhelming but expressed relief that the cancer was detected at an early stage, when treatment outcomes are generally more favorable.

According to Polizzi, she had been keeping up with routine gynecological exams after experiencing irregular results in previous screenings.
