Ariana Grande Reschedules Three ‘Eternal Sunshine’ Tour Dates Citing Safety

Ariana Grande delivered some disappointing news to fans on Monday, announcing that three stops on her Eternal Sunshine tour have been pushed to new dates because of production issues. The singer framed the decision as a matter of safety and emphasized that she wanted audiences to experience the show exactly as it was meant to be.

An Apology to Fans

Grande shared the update on Instagram Stories, expressing regret over the changes. She told fans she was sorry for the unfortunate scheduling shifts, explaining that rescheduling was the best and safest option once the production challenges came to her team’s attention.

Her message struck a personal and reassuring tone, making clear that the move was not taken lightly and that fan safety and experience drove the decision.

The New Dates

The reshuffle affects shows in two cities. A July 12 performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center has been moved to July 14, while two concerts at Boston’s TD Garden, originally set for July 22 and July 24, will now take place on July 23 and July 26, respectively.

Importantly for ticket holders, all existing tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. The accompanying statement noted that those affected will be contacted directly with additional information, sparing fans the worry of needing to repurchase or exchange their tickets.

In her note, Grande reiterated where her priorities lay, saying that safety was the most important thing of all, alongside ensuring that fans see the show the way it is intended to run. She thanked supporters for their understanding and expressed her eagerness to perform for them.

A Triumphant Return to Touring

The schedule changes come amid what has otherwise been a celebrated comeback for the singer. Earlier this month, Grande launched her Eternal Sunshine tour in Oakland, California, in support of her seventh studio album of the same name.

The outing marks her first headlining concert run since 2019, and it has been welcomed as a triumphant return to the stage. The setlist leans heavily on her latest record, while still weaving in selections from across her catalog. Fans have been treated to three songs from Positions, along with two apiece from Dangerous Woman, My Everything, and thank u, next, giving the show a blend of new material and beloved favorites.

A Rare and Possibly Fleeting Run

What makes this tour especially significant is that it may be a singular event for some time. Speaking on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast in November 2025, Grande revealed that she has no plans for another tour in the foreseeable future.

She reflected on how dramatically her priorities are shifting, noting that the next chapter of her life will look very different from the past decade or more. While stopping short of anything definitive, she said she was thrilled to take on this smaller tour but suspected it might not happen again for a very long time.

Why It Matters for Fans

That context lends added weight to each show on the Eternal Sunshine tour, and helps explain why the rescheduling, while frustrating, has been handled with such care. For fans who may not get another chance to see Grande perform live for years, ensuring the concerts go off safely and as intended carries real significance.

With the new dates now set and tickets honored, audiences in Brooklyn and Boston can look forward to catching one of the singer’s rare live performances, delivered the way she and her team envisioned it.
